Having grown up in San Jose California, Neil Kaplan was always known as the guy who did "funny voices". His first job was in 1988 impersonating Ronald Regan, Richard Nixon, and Dan Rather on a little parody recording called "the Great Debate of 88." He has since been doing cartoon and video game wok on a more regular basis since 1995.

Mostly known for his work in DIGIMON: Digital Monsters, as Hawkmon and his various forms, Neil also voiced the evil Diaboloco on Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue. His favorite role was the "utility guy" on a show called The Mouse and the Monster, aired on UPN back in 1996/1997. He played stomachs, ghosts, and Sappy the Clown among dozens of other characters. He played a variety of characters in every show, so every week was different showing his wide range.

Neil more recently played the lead on the new Transformers: Robots In Disguise television show, that being the heroic Optimus Prime. As the lead in a show popular with young and old viewers alike for one of Hasbro Inc. most successful properties, Neil came through and was met with nothing but praise.

Currently, Neil continues to do more voice acting work for video games, television and movie animation, and is getting back into old fashion live performance on several levels. Stay tuned!
